A Guide to the State Championship format
The Olympic Archery in Schools State Championship has always been an exciting event featuring the Ranking Round, Olympic Round, and Team Round, modeled after the Olympic Games. This year, OAS added new divisions to support both the introductory experience at the Junior Varsity level and provide a next step for those looking to increase the challenge at the Varsity level. While it is outlined in Chapter 10 of the Program Handbook, this post will serve as a more practical example of how this format will look on the field. We’ll use the 2023 Fall OAS Mail-In Tournament Results as an example.
